Yeh, we have an award ceremony too, but we think you'll enjoy how it goes down. Over the course of Xanadu Las Vegas, you'll find several events of glaring prominence: The Art Show, the Costume Extravaganza and the Independent Film Festival! There will be presentations in each of these categories for submissions that exceed the expectation of everyone on the committee and thus be deemed worthy of our appreciation, ribbons, trophy and a Xanadu Hazzah! Come meet these masters of their medium as they are feted by one and all.
The Award Ceremony will commence at 4:00 p.m. Sunday Afternoon.
THE XANADU LAS VEGAS ART AWARDS
During the run of the Art Show, our gaggle of drunken art snobs will pour over the gallery seeking that ethereal yet quintessential commodity known throughout the artworld as "Supreme Coolness". Once found, such pieces will be feted with ribbons and glory! If that ain't enough to short your pacemaker, Brom, our Art Guest of Honor, will pick his personal favorite of the entire show to be likewise glorified.
The Awards will be presented thus:

- Second Place | Third Place | Guest of Honor Special Award.
- THE XANADU LAS VEGAS INDIE FILM FESTIVAL
And now my jolly Cineastes, comes that time of Cinematic Euphoria known as "The Xanadu Las Vegas Independent Film Festival" which is broken into two segments: Feature Films and Shorts not exceeding 20 minutes for those in a hurry. - Here's how it goes down: Because of time constraints, the feature films will be judged "pre-convention" by our sister gaggle "The Cineholics". Whatever our blurry eyes determine to be the best 3 independent feature films of our three categories and likewise for the short films which will total 15 in competition will be voted on by YOU my dear and lucky dog, during a Festival of Films Saturday afternoon.
