EXPLORING THE ART SHOW. . . Xanadu Las Vegas intends on presenting the most grand display of imaginative art ever to grace Sin City! Marvel at the collected imaginations of many of our top artists, both international and local. Mindlessly wander the aisles; you'll find a dizzying number of pieces for sale and there are several ways of taking home that particular piece of art you can't live without: 1. On each piece of art, there is a "Bid Sheet" listing the name of the artist, title of the piece and a minimum bid. Some pieces are listed with a "Quick Sale" price, which means you can buy it immediately at the stated price. Notify an art show official who will remove the artwork for you and complete the sale. 2. Otherwise, you may meet the minimum bid or outbid someone else. Art with at lease three bids will go to the auction on Sunday afternoon. Here it will be held before the audience having an opportunity to "up-the-bid". Once the bidding is done, the art will then go to the highest bidder. Call out your name and the piece will be held for you to purchase at the close of auction. Bid often, bid without thinking! 3. Any piece of art receiving at least one but less than three bids can be purchased by the highest bidder by noon Sunday. 4. The Print Shop is an area set aside for the sale of prints of original work. Here you may snag a deal on the spot. 5. The Sketch Table is an artistic free-for-all of loose, original art you may rummage through and find that peculiar something at a bargain price! On the back you'll find the price; wave it at the Print Shop person and throw money. 6. Artists Alley! Here you'll find many of the artists, doing what artists do best, pick up some pointers, buy their stuff, give them money!
